I dislike my old work quite a bit. If you feel the same about yours, it just means you've made some improvements and grown over time. It happens.
I decided to use my dislike of such old work to my advantage here by repainting a snippet of this old beast:
Nharath (the Pallanoph,
not a wolf or canine, etc.) was beyond saving with my current photoshop painting/editing skills, so I settled to rework poor little Adelaide. Human faces are often the bane of me, but I didn't want to give up on her here. It's far from perfect, but it's so much better than the original, so I think that at least counts for something.
Original painting is acrylic and watercolor, retouched/repainted in Photoshop CS3 using a Wacom Bamboo tablet. (Absolutely nothing fancy, I promise.)I don't expect much attention for this, but it's a good documentation for my progress.

Normal commission work/portfolio work is being resumed to the best of my ability. I've been better, but I'll prevail anyway.
