The final version of I wanted to post them separate, since I liked both versions. Sorry to be clogging your inbox!

:sprint: Now, back to work!

Monochromatic neutral tones, my favorite! :giggle: I'll try more daring color schemes in the future, I hope. :)

How have you liked the GOLDEN acrylics? I have sixpack of their special effect thingies, but would love to hear a weigh in on the acrylics themselves :)

As for this piece, it's just epic! Especially the white highlight work, it never seizes to amaze me how much detail you can put into a piece like this.

I think GOLDEN acrylics are wonderful: I've used others (mostly liquitex, winsor and newton) but I think GOLDEN holds up the best. They have one of the highest pigment loads, and are super versatile. Besides, they have those useful color swatches right on the tube. Super handy!

And thank you! I have a fondness for white highlight details. :)

Thanks so much :) I've eyeballed liquitexs, but so far stayed away. I have a basic set of acrylics, either goldens or daler-rowneys... Can't remember :XD: Right now waiting for my bigger watercolour set to come in (White Nights), but it's always good to get feedback from someone with much more experience. Thanks so much, April

Wood burning seems like a lot of fun! I've done etching on metal and glass... seems to be similar! lol!
