An older piece, done a couple of months ago as a memorial for the owner of a cat we were taking care of. Boston, a Siamese/shorthair cross, passed away late October due to feline infectious peritonitis (FIP): www.vet.cornell.edu/FHC/health… It happened very suddenly, despite a visit to the vet a couple of months prior stating him as small, but healthy. We had only been taking care of him for just over a month, but we were still very saddened by his untimely passing. At the very least, we were there to say goodbye to him.
This is much different than what I normally do, though I liked the highly simplified approach. India ink and gouache on Canson Mi-Teintes pastel paper.
