Decorah

Oh yes, here we have another pencil rendered sketch commission that grew a bit out of control, if you will... This is *kiki-doodle's winged unicorn character, Decorah. Was a blast to draw! And feathers... I have so many feathers to draw in the near future, you don't even KNOW. So this was good practice for sure.

I don't study wing anatomy as well as I'd like to, since every time I go hunting through my books and references, I can't find the exact pose I'm looking for. Then I get lazy (or crazy?) and give up, making up the rest on my own. I may be finally getting the gist of the feather layout, though.

Anyway! *kiki-doodle, I hope he looks alright!
