Equus Aquarius

Ignore the rather foolish title. I fail with words, as many of you should know by now!

Anywho, this is actually a trade for ~RavingRaven who requested a hippocampus. Been a loooooong time since I'd drawn one up, quite honestly.

This little sketchy painting also served it's purpose in helping me to get over my recent phobia of painting. That's right... the pressure is on for me at the moment, as I prepare and hesitate to finish a band poster. Oh, I'd better finish it, it's due in a few weeks...

Oh... this was done in India ink, watercolors, some gouache, and acrylic on... (oh god, forgive me) BRISTOL BOARD. Yes... can you hear the demigods of watercolor wailing and gnashing their teeth? I can. In my defense, I like the odd stains bristol seems to retain, has a character all it's own. It's okay for simple studies, but nothing more. (In my own humble opinion.)

So, to ~RavingRaven : Hope you like it, and take as much time as you need for your half.
