Ohhhhhhhh no I've done it AGAIN. This time we have Mara, but again, same brush pen was used, and in the same Moleskine sketchbook. And again, the paper was resisting the ink in places. Annoying, but I wasn't about to be deterred by something so trivial. My hands must be greasy or something; can't see how that's possible if the skin is constantly splitting open from dryness, but I digress....

In all honesty, I have a hunch on the reception of this one, but I'll not say what it is, of course. We shall simply see if I am proved correct. ;)

Mara's appearance has shifted again. I'm not sure how I feel about it, I'm just trusting I haven't moved backwards, at least. Here she is with Jin in their first submission. [link] Also, I swear that someone else was directing my brush here. Those lines...... seem suspicious. :rofl:

I have no idea if I've missed anything... so let me know if their are any questions. Plenty of things are "off" as well, so I have no qualms with their being pointed out. I'm sure I've missed some, anyway. ;)

I'm in love with Jin, XD he's such an attractive looking kirin.

And Mara makes a lovely unicorn, I like that you've gone the way you have with her, with the cloven(? I forgot the word) feet and distinct snout/ears, it sets her apart!

Hmmmmmm, what to point out this time? :devilish: Teeheehee.

Naw, can't see any clear faults at the moment; nice wavy hair, good pose, anatomy and shading. But what's this!?

The right nostril is off by a centimetre!!!

Have I ever told you how much I adore the way you texture hair? It's so unique... I've really never seen a style quite like that. Go illustrate a book, woman! hehe.

Oh my! You are so good with ink you know. The hair and fur is so finely done! :faint: Mara and Jin are by far my favourites :heart:

Oh the curly hair! Somehow reminds me of Björn Landström's work, a Finnish illustrator. Only the hair/fur though.

Very beautiful and dynamic.
