I did several sketchy roughs of this at first, then drew only half of the shield. I flipped it over, and traced it with a few alterations so that it was mostly symmetrical. Then I had it nicely inked and scanned into photoshop, where I filled it with that texture and selected the black lines and made them white. :nod:

Augh, I love heraldry, I should do some more. :P And I should fetch some more reference material while I'm at it!
