Red Stag: Reworked by pallanoph Red Stag: Reworked by pallanoph
The only reason I'm submitting this is because I wanted to keep both this and the original. They're different enough, I think.

So the green was recommended by ~JasonSaastad a couple of years ago, when I first painted the thing. But, I ran out of time before I could see what this crazy green background idea looked like.

Since it didn't sell, I figured, why not experiment a little bit more? Thus this occurred. Not too bad, I don't think. It stands out a bit more now.

Anyway... that's more or less the end of this sale related work. Commissions will be back soon.

Acrylic, sepia ink, mahogany wood stain, and pyropgrahpy (woodburning) underneath it all.

Art April Schumacher. All rights reserved.

Original is for sale here: [link]

I actually just buy them this way, less of a hassle and mess. :) They can be found in most craft stores.(This was bought at a Michael's.)

Two years ago I asked $250. I suppose that was considered a bit high, since it's only roughly 11x14 inches, but... I have to earn income from my art somehow, when I'm not doing freelance projects. Unfortunately, I've become desperate and marked it down to $175. D:

I could see that. I never know what to charge for my art either. I'd like to sell, but I'd also like to be fairly compensated. ;p

Pretty as always, dear. :) I think the green makes it pop a bit more, but I like the earthy feel of the other piece.
