Artist's Comments
Finally an actual pencil portrait of one of my novel characters... a pallanoph from the Teirn tribe (the "antagonists" of the story, if you will.) The Teirn are a tribe of pallanophs that existed in and around the Black Forest.
Dear Reivig appears in these following deviations, and always in the background. Sigh. [link] [link] [link] The above links were drawn a little over a year ago. Thank god, I've improved.  His face is looking considerably more believable, yes?This was a not-so-quick doodle I was making as I was calling various apartments, etc. and getting little response. Turns out my frustration is oddly tame looking if it manifests on paper.  Not at all expected, considering my temper as of late. *grumbles* (Oh well, who cares, anyway? It's my own damn fault.)Moving on now... This is in one of my more beloved (and recent) sketchbooks and I used a few different leads in my 0.5 mechanical pencil, an F and a 2B.
