Graphite drawing of horse... thinking of Celtic mythology at the time, Rhiannon being associated with horses... and this was the result.
22x30, many hours of labor... and all sold.... *tear*

very impressive... great musculature and the head looks giant, almost exaggerated and caricaturelike, with the roman nose and the small eye examining us with disdain. It has a classical feel and style that I like :)

Tee hee... her head IS big! ... musta had something to do with the enormous drawing board it was on (this was a large piece) angling away from me. Thus I didn't recognize the head was pretty large due to perspective.... ha ha, now that I think of it, I did the same thing to a large portrait of myself!!! :D :D :D
Next time I'll do the sketch on a wall, and finish it on my desk!

lol yes drawing larger than you're used to does present problems with proportions sometimes! It is lovely regardless, :D
