Life has been keeping me well away from here, but I thought I'd take a moment to post this all the same.
My Aequis character, Shirk, eyes the storm clouds as they roll in out of the northeast. The setting sun still shines defiantly, beckoning him to fly out on one last flight over the seas ahead of the winds. The front promises dizzying gusts. It's a perfect end to a late summer day.
Sometimes you need to do a color experiment, and what better excuse to create some personal art as a result? I might offer commissions in this style at some point as soon as I resolve pricing.
Caran d'Ache colored pencils on Strathmore black paper, 7"x 10", 17.8 x 25.4 cm.

I am so grateful that I found your art! This is truly incredible. I love the colors that you used in your little experiment and I love how your Aequis character looks like they're ready to fly off. This is beautifully done. I love your use of anatomy and how you're able to get such a great picture with colored pencils! All I can say is wow! Awesome!
