So I took a little bit of time between the pile of sketch commissions/other projects to work on something for myself. The safest way to reintroduce myself to color beside quick watercolor work is colored pencils on colored paper, and I don't recall having worked with them on black paper before. This beast seemed like a fitting subject.

What is he? I can only tell you he isn't your ordinary unicorn.

You'll have to suffer without a background for now, until I can think of something simple and fitting. (I keep thinking mist, but didn't want to ruin it as it stands now.) Suggestions are welcome, and encouraged.

What a lovely beast! That skull head is wonderful. I'd hate to be on the business end of that horn and tusks! And how fluffy a hellbeast he is!
