So I found this the other day, in a scrap/sketch pile I'd forgotten on one of my shelves. I figured, it looked okay, despite the fight the fountain pen had given me. (Bad nib? Bad ink? I can't recall!) I figured I'd post it while we're waiting for me to throw out more commission work. (Getting things done while initiating the first steps of moving is trickier than I remembered, ha!)

So it's a were pallanoph, or a werenoph. Werenoph sounds better. I do hope I won't regret posting this, since I know that people are unwilling to read descriptions, or use their eyes, and thusly this poor beast will land himself in peoples' "woof and werewoofs" collections. Don't do that, he doesn't like the company.

I didn't accomplish much of interest in terms of the were-concept. Maybe his behavior is less frenzied and sporadic, and more cold and focused? Maybe he only comes out on eclipses? I did, however, want to add more of the human anatomy in, as I enjoy drawing human anatomy very much, but... I loathe drawing human heads most of the time, unless I have a good reference.

Aside from that, things you should know: Werenophs don't exist in the canon of my novel, so this is just fun and games. And for the record, werewolves don't exist either. Thought you should know!

Eeee! Fuzzy! :D

Ugh I know what you mean. When I see someone put one of my werewolf works in a 'furries' folder I want to start ripping off faces. 8|

This is fantastic though. I love the feet, claws, and teeth. The fur fluff looks fantastic too. I don't wanna say I pet it but I really do wanna pet it.

I liked this: "Maybe his behavior is less frenzied and sporadic, and more cold and focused? Maybe he only comes out on eclipses?"

I like the concept very much but trying to picture him actually being able to walk on all fours? Eh I just can't see it I think it's a problem with how long the back legs are compared to the spine?

Oh no, he couldn't possibly move about on all fours in this state. I have yet to decide if he's bipedal only, or this is just some midway state of transformation. :)

I want to grab that tail, but I don't think I would be able to run fast enough after to survive XD
