So I wanted my own self-motivation poster to keep me going even when I have a hundred other things I'd like to/need to do, to keep me focused. The humorous concept of a soviet bear was first brought up by a friend, and I couldn't help but go the full blown soviet poster route.
This was actually quite fun, and this is probably the fastest I've ever finished anything: Three hours from start to finish. The line art was inked by hand with a brush pen, and the color was added in Photoshop CS3. The paper texture came from CGTextures, and the font was "Russian," downloaded from dafont.com. Thankfully, my tablet appears to have finally agreed to get along with my computer. (Thanks to PinkPonyFarts! I'm sure it was your last tablet driver update suggestion that did the trick!
